Scope
This Policy applies whenever you visit our website, web application, or related products. If you use Bossie.ai as part of an enterprise account, your employer or organization is considered the controller of your data, and you should contact them directly with questions. Please note that this Policy does not apply to third-party services that integrate with Bossie.ai, such as Google, Stripe, OpenAI, or Anthropic. These services have their own privacy practices, which you should review separately.
Information We Collect
When you create an account or use our Services, we may collect information that you provide, such as your name, email address, and password. If you use social sign-on options like Google or GitHub, we receive authentication details from those providers. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information is processed securely by Stripe, and we only retain limited details such as the last four digits and expiration date of your card.
In addition, we may collect the content you upload or generate through our Services, including audio recordings, transcripts, notes, and resumes. When you contact our support team or otherwise communicate with us, we store those interactions to assist you.
We also automatically collect certain technical information when you interact with the Services. This includes details about your device, browser, IP address, time zone, pages visited, and general usage activity. We may also log crashes and performance issues to help improve reliability. In some cases, we may receive information from third parties, such as authentication providers, analytics partners, or publicly available sources like professional profiles if you choose to connect them.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to deliver and improve the Services. This includes providing features like real-time interview assistance, transcripts, summaries, and insights. AI and Training
Bossie.ai uses artificial intelligence features to provide its core services. For enterprise customers, your data is not used to train Bossie.ai or any third-party AI models unless this is explicitly agreed to in your contract. For Free and Pro users, you have control over whether anonymized data may be used to improve AI models. By default, this option is turned off, and you can update your preferences at any time in Settings → Privacy.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services or as required by law. Audio is processed in real time and not stored by default. Transcripts and summaries are retained according to your workspace settings, and you may delete them at any time. Payment and billing records are kept to meet legal requirements, while system backups and logs are maintained for a limited time to ensure security and compliance.
Sharing of Information
We share your data only in limited circumstances. This may include service providers who support our operations, such as hosting platforms, analytics services, payment processors, transcription providers, and AI model partners. If you are part of an enterprise account, your administrators may have access to data generated under your account. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our legal rights, or to safeguard the safety and security of users. Bossie.ai does not sell personal data to third parties.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right to access your information, request corrections or deletion, receive a copy of your data in a portable format, or object to or restrict certain processing. Children
Bossie.ai is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately at support@bossie.ai, and we will delete it.
International Transfers
Bossie.ai operates globally, which means your information may be transferred to and stored in countries outside your region, including the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect data transferred internationally.
